Who we are

Science, sustainability, and systems thinking

Ascend-Legacy Group was founded on the belief that rigorous agricultural science — guided by systems engineering principles — can solve some of the world's most pressing food and environmental challenges.

What drives us

Dr. Daniel Adu Boakye

Lead Agricultural Scientist

Dr. Boakye is a US-trained agricultural scientist. However, his academic foundation was laid in Ghana. His research has primarily focused on understanding and mitigating yield loss in disease-stressed environments. Much of his high-level work was conducted at the University of Cape Coast and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology. At the University of Florida, Southwest Florida Research and Education Center, he tackled Huanglongbing (HLB), also known as Citrus Greening.
